First Lady Michelle Obama exemplifies class and grace in a modern yet traditional sense that has captivated the world. Known for her bold yet sophisticated fashion choices, Michelle Obama has become a inspiration for the younger generation. Having graced the cover of Vogue magazine and compared to Jackie O, Michelle Obama is the complete package of brains, beauty and wits. After only 52 days in the White House, Michelle Obama has set a wonderful example as our nations first African American First Lady.
Let's take a look at some of the stunning ensembles from our first lady:

I think Michelle Obama is the epitome of class. You are correct when you say that she is an inspiration to younger women. Her fashion is simple, but classy; bold, yet modest; practical, yet sophisticated. I think her fashion makes her relatable to the average women. However, I have heard alot of older women complain about her attire, saying that it is too simple, too fitted and even too exposing (arms out). I wonder if she fears alienating her older generation. I hope that she does not surrender to critics of her attire, because I too think that our younger generation needs inspiration that will help them to dress bold and classy without being vulgar and trashy.
ReplyDeleteMerci I agree with you and Lois, what makes Michelle Obama Michelle is that fact she did not go the tradional routed in dress code for first lady. For she is not a traditional first Lady .We have only had white fist ladies in the past whom are also traditional older in age than Mrs Obama .If she feared what others would say and or do Trust that she would not be in the White House today....
